Staff Nurse Infection Control

Coordinate and develop a quality Infection Control Service providing leadership, support and guidance to staff and employees and accordingly, plan, organize, coordinate, implement and evaluate hospital-wide Infection Control Program in collaboration with the Prevention and Control of Infections Chairperson, in order to improve the infection prevention and control practices within the hospital.

• Plan, organize, coordinate, implement and evaluate the Infection Control Program in collaboration with the Prevention and Control of Infections Chairperson.
• Develop policies and procedures for infection prevention and control practices in the hospital, in consultation with other key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular assessments of infection risks and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to prevent the spread of infections.
• Provide education and training to staff and employees on infection control practices and protocols.
• Work with other departments to promote and implement effective infection control practices throughout the hospital.
• Monitor and investigate any suspected or confirmed cases of healthcare-associated infections, and implement appropriate interventions to prevent further spread.
• Collaborate with external agencies and healthcare providers on infection control matters as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the Infection Control Program and prepare reports as required.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in infection control and implement best practices as appropriate.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the role.

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Essential: At least two years in own country
• Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial
• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
