Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced nurse to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients in a hospital or home care setting. The successful applicant will hold a Diploma/Degree in Nursing from a recognized medical school and have at least 2 years of hospital or home care experience. BLS certification is required, and a DHA license or letter of eligibility in the UAE (if applicable) and a license in their home country is desirable but not mandatory. Experience in midwifery, Middle East nursing, newborn and pediatric care, and elderly care is also desirable.
The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients, including those with chronic conditions such as diabetes and stroke. They will administer medications and assist with catheter care as needed, and provide palliative care and support to patients and their families. The nurse will also utilize pain management techniques and be skilled in diabetic care and management, stroke patient rehabilitation, and palliative care nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a hospital or home care setting, according to their individual needs and care plans
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients, including those with chronic conditions such as diabetes and stroke
- Administer medications and assist with catheter care as needed
- Provide palliative care and support to patients and their families
- Assist with newborn and pediatric care, as well as elderly care
- Utilize pain management techniques to provide comfort to patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure patient needs are met
- Maintain a compassionate, caring, and positive attitude towards patients and their families
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs and care plans
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including holding a valid nursing license or letter of eligibility in the UAE (if applicable) and a BLS certification
Qualifications
- The applicant must have a Diploma/Degree in Nursing from a recognized medical school.
- 2 years Hospital Experience or Home Care experience desirable
- BLS Certification
- Candidates with DHA license or letter of eligibility desirable but not mandatory.
- License in their Home Country
- Middle East Nursing experience is desirable
- Midwifery Experience is desirable
